Growing up in Australia, savory scrolls were a staple treat, and I’ve missed them ever since. Whether they were served at family gatherings or enjoyed as a quick snack, these delicious scrolls were everywhere. Whenever I make them for get-togethers, I usually take a shortcut with puff pastry — it’s foolproof and always a crowd-pleaser. The Secret to Perfect Savory Scrolls: Versatility
One of the best things about savory scrolls is how versatile they are. You can throw in any leftovers from your fridge, and they’ll always turn out amazing. For this batch, I used leftover ham, cheese, and whatever fresh herbs I had left before they went bad. The result? A flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth snack that was a hit!
What’s great about these savory scrolls is that they’re completely customizable! So, whether you’re using up leftover roast chicken, veggies, or even some bacon bits, the possibilities are endless.
